life in Lincoln is lovely as ever. things are hoppin' at the Hospital!
most exciting being the Magic Mice...came in a little over a week ago, no one said they would live, some wanted to put them to sleep...but we kept them, and fed them and sent happy thoughts their way and there are still 4 left out of the 6 that origionaly came in. i am so excited! they have gotten so much bigger since they came in. they really might make it! with them luck!!

I'm really enjoying all of your pictures! The one of the Magic Mouse holding onto the syringe is quite adorable.
Overall I am doing well in Montana. I just did an overnight camping trip and hiked 7 miles in on Thursday and out on Friday. It rained all day Thursday and that was a bit miserable, but the entire trip was beautiful.
Before we left for our trip this funny old bear man lover came and talked to our class. His name is Charles Jounkel and he is President and Co-Founder of the Great Bear Foundation in Missoula here. He gave some useful/factual information on how to avoid bears and how they are smart critters, and they try to avoid us at all costs. He even handed out a newspaper his organization publishes and in it I read about a Wildlife Rehab and Education Center in Helena, MT, which is about 2 hours from here! I was really excited when I learned of this. During the Spring Semester we get to do an internship of our choice and so I am gonna try to do some type of volunteer work with wildlife rehab hopefully in Missoula here. OH oh! And I am planning on building a bike! Theres a store here called Free Cycles and all you have to do is give a few hours of your time to help out in the store and take a biking regulations class and then they provide the parts and instruction for free!!!
Ok, I just wanted to update you on things. Glad to see you're doing super. I miss you. Take care lady!
