Weirfield Girls Night

Fiona, Sarah, Joe, Ruth and I all went out for dinner and drinks the other week- had a lovely girls night out!

the Lincoln Cathedral

the Lincoln Cathedral, dedicated to St. Mary, is situated on a hill in the north of the city and can be seen from almost 20 miles away in all directions. the building started in 1072...Construction of the Cathedral finished in the year 1311 AD, and the Cathedral maintained the title of the world's tallest building for 238 years until 1549 AD, when the central spire was destroyed in a storm.

Proper Cream Tea

Ruthy- as lovely as she is- took me for a proper english cream tea...royal family style. it was very quaint and we had a lovely time :D

Gainsborough

Al was nice enough to take me out in Gainsborough over the weekend, met some of his biker friends and his sisters. it was great fun! :)

RELEASE!!

Rob and I have been doing releases...it's a fantastic feeling to be able to get an animal
into the Hospital that would have died had it been left on it's own, and get it well and fit- and released back into the wild where it belongs. Woohee! (there's a Pheasant in that 3rd pic of you look carefully :)

into town (Lincoln)

the local shop

Barney Rubble

he came in as a tame owl but no one ever came to claim him, so he hangs out here and sits on peoples sholders and talks to us. he's very personable and he does love his day-old-chicks. yummy!

mr.Rock n' Roll

this chap came in the other week, not supposed to name the animals but sometimes you just can't help it...he's fit and healthyand we've tryed relesing him several times, but he always comes straight back and sits in the window of the hospital looking in at us...Rob and i (one of the part-timers at Weirfield) are going to try it agin today. also taking a pheasant and the 3 magic mice that are left! yippee!!
